Eckville

Eckville
Posti is from Eckville
Postis are from Eckville
Posti lives in Eckville
That's where he went to school
But not for long in Eckville
He goes back to Eckville
That's where he went this summer
Posti is no Nazi but he would be
If Posti went to high school
In Eckville
But he didn't, so he's not
But he could of been!
Oh, Eckville
Eckville
Eckville
Eckville
Land of the Postis
Eckville
The Postis are all over Eckville
They own Eckville
At least they would if they could
Eckville
Eckville
Eckville

This song was a big hit...well, not with other people, but the band. It was recorded twice, once on "More Songs About Benalto And Food" with Toqueface singing and later on "Fear Of Benalto" with Dirty Pete taking the microphone. This is the Dirty Pete version.  For those who are curious, the "Nazi" references refer to an infamous case where an Eckville high school teacher, Jim Keegstra, was found teaching Jewish conspiracy theories to his students and the ol' "Holocaust Is A Hoax" thing. Interestingly enough,  right after getting kicked off the school board Keegstra got a job as a mechanic...in Eckville. How weird is that? It's like all through University, while getting his teaching degree the guy was taking shop classes "just in case I get found out". Anyway, Eckville is a fine town and NOT filled with Nazis. It's mostly filled with Postis. Go to www.eckville.com and look - there's a Posti in the mayor's seat!
